Oct. 16: 5 things that drive me bat-sh*t-crazy

*Potholes. They are everywhere. *sigh*

*When someone starts a sentence with "No offense, but" or "Not to be rude, but" ... do they think it's a free pass to be offensive and rude?

*One uppers... those that, when you're sharing something exciting or tragic in your life, they "one up you" by having something better/worse happen and usually, the story sounds sketchy.

*Inconsiderate drivers. Especially those that pull their vehicle out on front of you and drive super slow and don't use turn signals.

*Myself... for almost always running late.

Celebrating...

My two older sons are in cross country together, and the team came in first place at Sectionals last weekend, which helped qualify them for Regionals. So excited for them, that they get to do this together and that the team is doing so well.

The Walking Dead and Gotham are back on the air. I've missed these shows! 

I have an idea for my Spooktoberfest flash fiction piece, but I haven't started writing it yet. Hoping to do that soon, because I don't have much time left!

Celebrating...

*We had our family pictures taken, and because the sun set sooner than expected, the photographer is giving us another session on the house to take at a later date. How nice is that? Love her! And the photos that she was able to take look wonderful.

*Ate a dessert called cookie monster from Cheddar's. I haven't had one in several years, and it did not disappoint. It's vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, peanuts, and whipped cream, served on a warm chocolate chip cookie. Yummy!

*Got caught up on my blog posts AND did some editing on a manuscript. So excited!

Oct. 5 - 9: Where would be the scariest place to spend Halloween?

I think a haunted asylum or something like that would be a scary place to spend Halloween. MTV had this show called Fear, where contestants documented whether the place was haunted or not. I think it'd be scarily awesome to do that with Dani! We'd probably scare each other more than the place itself, just by screaming or jumping at the unknown.
