May 9-13 Is there a celebrity whose death affected you in some way?
Rich Mullins - a songwriter, singer, piano player. I realize he's probably not well known to some, but to me, he was a celebrity. I first saw him at camp in my teens. He had such a strong love for the Lord, and his voice was amazing; his music made a big impact on me. He passed away in an auto accident, and when I'd heard the news, I was numb. In shock. It was like a family member had died. But God was ready for him, and I'm sure Rich was equally ready to meet Him.

Oct. 5 - 9: Where would be the scariest place to spend Halloween?

I think a haunted asylum or something like that would be a scary place to spend Halloween. MTV had this show called Fear, where contestants documented whether the place was haunted or not. I think it'd be scarily awesome to do that with Dani! We'd probably scare each other more than the place itself, just by screaming or jumping at the unknown.

I love love love oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with regular chocolate chip coming in at a close second. As for cake, carrot is the only kind I like.

Gold Canyon has a candle called Autumn Walk. It has hints of jasmine, musk, and sandlewood I love the smell of it!

Great question, Laura! I love to watch and read apocalyptic themes in movies and books, but my favorite out of all would be zombies. 
If one of those apocalyptic scenarios were to occur in real life, I think, even though it'd be terrifying, that I could have a good chance of lasting in a zombie world. Especially with my hubby and Dani (another zombie fan) by my side. We have a survival plan, and a place to meet up, in case something happens. Hey, never hurts to be prepared, right? And, I'd like to think that this plan could be used for other apocalyptic scenarios as well.

I think a gift basket is a perfect way to say thank you. Yes, I know it isn't a note, but I love giving back, and I think it's a perfect way to say thanks! 
They're so many different ways to create a gift basket, depending on the recipients interests.... coffees/teas, chocolates, books, comics, sports items/teams, Bath and Body Works, gourmet ... the list is endless!

Jan 12-16:  What's a musical or play you've viewed?

In college, my sis and I went to the Stratford Festival in Canada. We saw William Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor and Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. I don't remember much about the first play, not to say that it wasn't great, but Amadeus trumped it. The man who played Mozart was amazing, and the play itself had me mesmerized from the opening act. 


Jan 19-23:   What's your favorite movie you saw in 2014?

I watched a few awesome movies, but the one that stands out to me would be Guardians of the Galaxy. I love that movie!

What holiday would be complete without A Christmas Story? It's a classic that my family and I watch over and over again during this season. 

My youngest and I both love How the Grinch Stole Christmas, so we'll be viewing that as well, a bazillion times over, too. :)

Nov. 3-7: If you came with a warning label, what would yours say about you?

This cracks me up! There are times after I say something, I think to myself, "Why in the world did I say that?" or "Did I just say that out loud?" or In my head, I'll think something is funny or creative, and I'll share my thoughts, but it will be in 'Jackie-lingo' (i.e. come out confusing) and the person will stare at me like I'm speaking Klingon.
