Oct. 16: 5 things that drive me bat-sh*t-crazy

*Potholes. They are everywhere. *sigh*
*When someone starts a sentence with "No offense, but" or "Not to be rude, but" ... do they think it's a free pass to be offensive and rude?
*One uppers... those that, when you're sharing something exciting or tragic in your life, they "one up you" by having something better/worse happen and usually, the story sounds sketchy.
*Inconsiderate drivers. Especially those that pull their vehicle out on front of you and drive super slow and don't use turn signals.
*Myself... for almost always running late.

To join Celebrate the Small Thingsvisit the Lexa's Blog for the rules, and then post every Friday about something you're grateful for that week.
This bloghop is originated by VikLit, and Lexa's amazing co-hosts are:
L.G. Keltner at Writing Off The Edge and Tonja Drecker at Kidbits Blog

My two older sons are in cross country together, and the team came in first place at Sectionals last weekend, which helped qualify them for Regionals. So excited for them, that they get to do this together and that the team is doing so well.

The Walking Dead and Gotham are back on the air. I've missed these shows!

I have an idea for my Spooktoberfest flash fiction piece, but I haven't started writing it yet. Hoping to do that soon, because I don't have much time left!

  1. I really need to get started on my Spooktoberfest piece, too! Have a great weekend :)

  2. I'm a speed demon cuz I'm always late. Slow people, move it over. I still have a couple days for the spooktoberfest, right?

    1. Yep, you sure do! The post dates are from Sat Oct 24 - Wed Oct 28. Excited to read your entry!

  3. I agree with all your pet peeves. I'm kinda guilty of being a one-upper though. Not trying to outshine the person, but trying to let them know I empathize because I've been there. Probably a bad habit... Yay for your sons' track team and for a new season of shows. Good luck with your flash fiction piece!

    1. I don't think empathizing with them makes you a one-upper. It just means you're a wonderful and caring person! :D

Comments make me happy. So do photos of Adam Levine... <3
