Underrated Treasures Blogfest

It's time for the Underrated Treasures Blogfest hosted by Alex J. Cavanaugh.
Everyone has a favorite movie, band, show, or book that no one else has ever heard about. For whatever reason, they remain undiscovered and underrated. Now is your chance to tell the world about this obscure treasure!

On Monday, September 22, post about your favorite unknown –
MOVIE – BAND/ARTIST – TV SHOW – BOOK
Post about one or all four – dealer’s choice!

I'm unsure if my choices are underrated, but I feel they deserve so much more recognition because they are that awesome!

 MOVIE: The Spitfire Grill

Blurb: Oscar-winner Ellen Burstyn headlines this critically praised drama about a young woman, just out of prison, who finds spiritual redemption working at a cafe in Maine. Things become increasingly complicated when a leading businessman suspects her of criminal wrongdoing.

BAND/ARTIST: Mark Curry

Mark Curry formed the band Crystal Sphere in the 80's, then went solo in the 90's. I don't know if he still writes or sings, because I haven't found any recent music from him, which is a total bummer, but all the same, I love his songs, delivered by a gravelly voice that's filled with soul.

TV SHOW: Harper's Island

Blurb: A horror-inspired drama, this CBS series is about a group of friends and family who meet to celebrate a wedding on an island just outside Seattle, an island that is famous for a streak of unsolved murders seven years ago. Suspense ensues when they end up dead one by one; has the killer returned or is someone else to blame?

This amazing book came out this summer. I LOVED it, and I cannot wait to read more from this author!
Blurb:
The day Anne Tinning turns seventeen, birds fall from the sky. But that's hardly the most upsetting news. She's being dismissed from the home she's served at since she was a child, and shipped off to become the newly hired parlor maid for a place she's never heard of. And when she sees the run-down, isolated house, she instantly knows why:
There's something wrong with Rosewood Manor.
Staffed with only three other servants, all gripped by icy silence and inexplicable bruises, and inhabited by a young master who is as cold as the place itself, the house is shrouded in neglect and thick with fear. Her questions are met with hushed whispers, and she soon finds herself alone in the empty halls, left to tidy and clean rooms no one visits.
As the feeling of being watched grows, she begins to realize there is something else in the house with them--some creature that stalks the frozen halls and claws at her door. A creature that seems intent on harming her.
When a fire leaves Anne trapped in the manor with its Master, she finally demands to know why. But as she forces the truth about what haunts the grounds from Lord Grey, she learns secrets she isn't prepared for. The creature is very real, and she's the only one who can help him stop it.
Now, Anne must either risk her life for the young man she's grown to admire, or abandon her post while she still can.
