Topic for the week: Any favorite video games? Not a gamer, then what are your top board games, cards, etc that you enjoy?
Years ago, I loved Crash Bandicoot. I so wish they'd come out with an updated version of this game! I used to play the Resident Evils, but the more games that came out in the series, the more I started to NOT like the game. Weird.
Right now, my favorite video games are:
- CSI - it's fun solving the cases!
- Thief - this game is SCARY so I can't play or watch others play for very long, but I still love it. LOL
- Uncharted - this is a treasure hunt type game, but with bad guys chasing you and trying to mess up your mission. The puzzles are fun to solve.
- The Last of Us - This one, my hubby has played. I want to play it, but this game is one that I KNOW if I started it, I wouldn't want to stop playing.
As for board games, I love:
Monopoly, Taboo, Apples to Apples, Yahtzee, and Scrabble
Celebrate The Small Things is the weekly celebration, hosted by Viklit. Thanks, Vik, for the wonderful meme to celebrate the happenings of the week, no matter how small or big the celebration.
Celebrations for the week:
- My two middle sons received citizenship awards for the school year! So blessed!
- My 16 yr old had his track banquet. :)
- To keep my 1st grader occupied at track banquet, I packed books and an ipod. He chose to read the books! This melted my heart.
What celebrations would you like to share?
I bought a Crash Bandicoot game last year because I still have my PS2. lol The memories!
ReplyDeleteYay to your 1st grader choosing the books. That's great :) My favorite games right now is Candy Crush - a little lame, I know. But I don't have to think, and I can play a game in under ten minutes. Lol! I can't afford to give up more time than that right now. As to board games, I love whatever my daughter puts on the table, which is a TON lately.
ReplyDeleteBooks are always the better choice, he's wise :)
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful celebrations - and maybe I should celebrating sharing the world with such wonderful young men/children. You must be so proud!

I tried playing CSI, but I couldn't get started with it, which is odd, because I love puzzle games :)
ReplyDeleteGreat about your 1st grader - always good to hear about an enthusiastic reader!

Great things to celebrate! I don't play video games (although I have developed a small addiction to Ice-Cream Drop that my kids loaded onto my phone), but I love cards and Scrabble. And Trivial Pursuit with a few glasses of wine in me....
ReplyDeleteI don't play video games...unless SongPop counts. I play it on my iPhone!
ReplyDeleteUncharted looks fun.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the kids!
