Express Yourself - scary reads & movies
Express Yourself is the weekly meme where Dani @Entertaining Interests and I ask a question or discuss a topic for other bloggers to share and learn more about each other.
Some topics and/or questions could be repeats, but we do that because things change with time. This way, it keeps things updated.

Oct 6 - 10: What's the scariest book/movie you've read/watched?
(We did this question back in June, but in case you've read or watched anything scary since then, and because it's the spooky season, we thought it'd be good to ask again.
If you haven't read/watched anything new, then tell us what you'd like to read/watch this Halloween season?)
Paranormal Activity
After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.
Super scary!!!
This Halloween season, I'd like to see:
The Conjuring.... Based on a true story, ghost hunters Lorraine and Ed Warren help a family terrorized by a dark spirit.
It looks creepy!!!

The Conjuring is so creepy!! And the Paranormal movies are scary as all get out!
ReplyDeleteThose Paranormal movies terrify me, especially the first one. :)
ReplyDeleteMadeline @ The Shellshank Redemption
Been a long time since a movie or book really scared me. Stephen King's book IT totally freaked me (the mini series was lame though) and the first Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street was scary.
ReplyDeleteLately, scary movies are about teenagers getting killed in stupid ways while having sex. Not scary - unless you're a sexually active teen.
The Conjuring is a popular pick.
ReplyDeleteTakes a lot to scare me. Last movie that even came close was The Ring. That was unsettling to say the least.
