This weeks topic: Name a chore you dislike, and one you love to do.
**Washing dishes by hand is not my favorite thing, but I have no choice because our dishwasher took a crap this summer. And with money being tight and me being picky on which one I want, I'm not running out to buy a new one. So, I will continue to wash by hand until I find the one I want, and when enough money is saved up.
**My favorite chore would be laundry... especially separating and folding. With six of us, it piles up, but for some reason, I don't mind. It calms me. When my boys are grown, I won't have so much laundry, and I'll miss it (and them) terribly.
What about you? Do you have a chore you love or dislike?
I loathe unloading the dishwasher, especially as I always get stuck doing it. I think my wife does that on purpose...

DeleteI don't know...they are boys afterall. lol I hate unloading the dishwasher and putting away my clothes. lol Conundrums.

DeleteAnd I love doing laundry!!.It's my fave chore! :)
I used to do 3 loads of laundry a day! YUCK! It's gotten much better in the last few years with kids moving out.
ReplyDeleteWith all four boys being involved in sports, I average about 3-4 loads a day, and I absolutely love it.
DeleteI will be so sad when they're all grown up and moved out. :(
I actually don't mind washing the dishes. I usually end up doing some combination of singing/brainstorming scenes while I scrub, so it's not too terrible. ;)
