Thanks for stopping by and thanks to Alex for another cool blogfest!
I'm all for comedies but it is very rare that I make it through a horror movie. Too much of a chicken, I guess.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm chicken, too! LOL I watch a majority of them through my fingers, but I still love them!
DeleteI used to be able to sit through horrors. Then I just couldn't.
ReplyDeleteMy other half watches them all the time and, although I cannot see the screen all that well while at the computer, I have to leave the room as soon as they start.
Some are so flippin' scary, but I can't help but watch... through my fingers. hehe
DeleteHaha, cheesy horror is great! :D
ReplyDeleteI know! So fun! :)
DeleteYay! High-five on choosing YA as the fav book genre. It was my pick as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Great minds and all that. :D
Deletecomedy & horror! what a combo! and i believe their offspring is cheesy horror! ha!
ReplyDeletegreat choices!
Thanks, Tara!!! :D
DeleteI love cheesy horror too. It's fun to laugh at how silly it is.
ReplyDeleteYou're right! And there's something about laughing and yelling at the same time. :)
DeleteHorror was my favorite movie genre, too. I enjoy the cheesy ones, but I really love the ones that make me cringe AND laugh.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about your favorite genres,
Jocelyn
Cool! Thanks for stopping by! :D
DeleteHaha - Cheesy horror. Good guilty pleasure.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nicole! :)
DeleteHorror!!! I need a movie night out!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Let's go!
Deletehave you see, tuck and dale vs. evil... that is a mixture of comedy/horror.

Howlin' Wolf Records: On-Line Magazine
No, I haven't seen that one, but thanks for mentioning it. I'll have to check that one out!
DeleteAnd there's lots of cheesy horror out there to satisfy any fan.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in my blogfest!
Absolutely!
DeleteThanks for hosting!
I mean, horror of any type is not really my thing. I enjoyed seeing what you liked for your favorite genres.

Thanks for stopping by, Gina!
DeleteI chose a subgenre for my guilty pleasure, too. :P
ReplyDeleteCool! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat picks! We have a lot in common. lol
ReplyDeleteWe sure do! :)
DeleteGreat list! I'm not much of a horror fan, although I have a few that I watch over and over again - like the Lost Boys. :D
ReplyDeleteLOVE The Lost Boys! :)
DeleteCheesy horror movies like Blacula? Or remember Eddie Murphy's cheesy vamp flick? Too funny.
ReplyDeleteVampire in Brooklyn? Eddie Murphy is hilarious!
DeleteCheesy horror! I love it! Too fun. Fun list... this has been a fabulous fest. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yep, it's been a blast reading others choices!
DeleteI can't do horror-cheesy or otherwise. Comedy, I can do!
ReplyDeleteAllison (Geek Banter)
Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteIf I'm going to watch a horror movie, the cheesier the better. Hooray for YA Romance.
ReplyDeleteYay for another fan of YA romance!
DeleteCheesy horror? Ah, heck, then you need to run down a comedy vampire horror film entitled "Blood on the Highway." It's funny, bloody and has cool effects. You'll recognize Zander from Buffy and Tom from "House of a 1000 Corpses." I believe you'll enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, Jeremy. I just read the synop on IMDB. I can't wait to check this one out!
DeleteI've been working my way through the blogfest participants and it's amazing how many list cheesy horror. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteI've noticed Rom Coms being mentioned, which surprised me. I mean, I like them, but was just shocked to see it on a lot of blogs.
DeleteHey, jackie,
ReplyDeleteHopping over for the blogfest... nice to meet you.
Comedy and Horror ... Now that's an interesting split.
Pop rock .... ROCKS!
Y/A romance... well I do enjoy Y/A and write in this genre with more of an edge though.
CHEESY horror is great. How could you not get a good laugh out of it!
Hello, Michael!
DeleteThanks for taking time to stop by my blog and for the follow!
Comedy is my guilty pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI love comedy!
DeleteReading "cheesy horror" I immediately thought of "Monster Squad" and the original "Fright Night." Is that the kinda thing you mean?
ReplyDeleteI do heart me some comedic horror, I have to say...and some straight-up horror, though I can't watch it too late in the day, else I can't sleep. :-D
Some Dark Romantic
Exactly! Cheesy horror like the original Fright Night ... although the one with Colin Farrell (meow) is really good, too!
DeleteHello, Jackie. It's good to meet you. I'll follow anyone who likes horror. So, big Maroon 5 fan, huh? I've seen them a couple of times, but not so pleased w/ the new dance-sound direction. That debut cd was huge, though. I still play the heck out of that thing! I like Train a bit more, but they're starting to head that direction, too. Oh, well. I love music, so I will keep my mind open on the subject.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and thanks for sharing.

Yep, big Maroon 5 fan!!! I saw their M5/Train tour... such an awesome concert! :D
DeleteThe main reason I love them, besides Adam's voice, is because of the lyrics.
Thanks for stopping by!
